Welcome to the Sassafras Ferny Creek Netball Club.


The Sassafras Ferny Creek Netball club has been an important part of the Dandenong Ranges community for decades. The club plays in both the Winter (February – August) and Spring (September – December) competitions with the Mountain District Netball Association.


Our philosophy is to provide an environment where players can learn and develop their skills, and receive coaching from appropriately trained coaches. We want our players to have fun and form long-lasting friendships with their peers, sharing similar goals. We want to provide a player pathway enabling players to achieve their potential.

Player Informatiom

Sassafras Ferny Creek Netball Club would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri people who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we train and play. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and future, and extend that respect to all Indigenous Australians. We also wish to recognise the contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people make to our sport, and highlight the power of netball to promote reconciliation, enhance belonging and reduce inequality.
