Training details

Training will be held on a weekday at Olinda Recreation Reserve, Olinda-Monbulk Road in Olinda.


Day and time of training will be communicated to the teams by the coach prior to commencement of the season.


Training on School or Public Holidays will be at the discretion of the coach.


Wet weather training is optional.


Players who attend training must:

  • Wear suitable training attire with appropriate runners/trainers
  • Bring a drink bottle
  • Be on time
  • Adhere to the players code of conduct
  • Notify the coaches if unable to attend
  • Not wear any jewelry that could pose safety risks for players or other team members (eg; hanging earrings, rings, etc)


As per Netball Victoria’s Member Protection Regulation, there must be at least two supervising adults in attendance at each training session. If necessary, a parent roster will be devised for each team to ensure there are always two adults present.


Note: Training sessions are considered compulsory however, the coach may give exemptions. If a player is ill or injured, they must notify their coach.

Olinda Reserve located at 73 Olinda-Monbulk Rd in Olinda is the headquarters of Sassafras Ferny Creek Netball Club. All training sessions are located here unless otherwise specified.
